All Kim Style

She is a Los Angeles native who traveled all the way to Kathmandu, Nepal, to gain inspiration for her bohemian bracelets and bags. She even lived with a shaman in a mud hut in the hills of the Himalayas while filming a documentary on Hindus and Buddhists.

When she got back to the states, she says she began to approach design with a whole new perspective...

I am talking about designer CC Skye, and she makes the cutest accessories! I am so into bangle bracelets for the summer, and CC makes them in an array of eye-popping colors!

Bangles are an awesome way to spice up a casual t-shirt and jeans look or can be worn when you're dressed up and going out.

Check out CC's designs and let me know what you think!

My makeup artist Stephen tried new lashes on me for Jimmy Kimmel. They are Mac No. 35. I am loving them! I do not wear fake lashes daily, but they are great for photo shoots, special events and tv stuff! When I answered questions before about fake lashes, I mentioned I wore a company called Red Cherry, which I still love, but these new MAC ones I really am into!

I also have read comments where some of you have said I claimed to never wear fake lashes. I never said that, so please go back and re-read my answer...

Question: Kim....You, your mom and your sisters eyelashes are ALWAYS beautiful. I wanted to know what brand you use or where do you guys get them done?
Answer:  We wear a company called Red Cherry, but Khloe never wears them. Kourtney, my mom and I only wear them out at night to events or parties. We have very long eye lashes to start with and the trick is to use two different kinds of mascara and really take your time putting it on!

I wish I knew how to put them on myself! Do you know how to put on fake eyelashes? Any tricks to make it easier you can share with me?

What do you guys think of these Mac lashes? I think they kind of look like spiders but very cool and definitely not as scary!

I decided to try out my lighter eye make up look. And don't laugh, I want your opinion! I usually ask my sisters these sorts of questions, but I want to be able to bounce things off you, too! ...

I am sooo loving Lorac makeup right now!

I recently tried their new glam rocks pigment shadow in their color called "metallic pearl." I used the Mac Black Zoom mascara which I love! And then I added this Lorac perfectly lit powder called "spotlight!" It gives you a shimmer all over! I love it!

Do you guys like the lighter eye makeup look or the smokey eye look better on me? (I can handle criticism, but be nice!)

hair.jpgIn the past weeks, many of you have asked me to offer tips on hair care. Your questions have ranged from styling issues to requests for product recommendations. Let me be the first to tell you: I am here to help! I hope you find these tips useful!

Kat says: If you are ever free from your busy schedule, can you do a tutorial on how you do your daily hair style? it's so GORGEOUS!!!

Thank you, Kat! I try not to wash or style my hair everyday because that is just too much stress on anyone's hair. (And there is more hair tutorial for you below!)

Celeste says: I absolutely love your hair! It always looks beautiful and healthy! I especially love it in the episode, where you told your family you were posing in PLAYBOY. In that episode your hair has these great curls that are tight but loose at the same time. How were you able to make it look like that?

(See the answer to this question and many more hair tips after the jump!)

tanning.jpgIt's summer and I know you all are trying to get that glowing tone in your skin to suit the season! Here are some questions I received recently on tanning. I hope you find my answers useful!...

L'apetta da miele says:
Hey Kim! I love your glowing skin, you always have the perfect tan!!!... What is your personal opinion about sunless tanning??? Love you!!! xoxo

I tried sunless tanning one time, right before New Year's Eve. I was tan and it was great, but I felt a little orange. I have a hard time not showering for 8 hours with that tanning stuff on. I am Armenian, so I naturally have an olive complexion. I want to try the spray tan again sometime.

Latinafan says:
I was wondering do you tan at all?

I know spray tanning is better, but I have only tried it once. I definitely love to lay out in the sun and tan when I'm on vacation!

Aileen says:
Hi Kim, I just wanted to let you know that you have beautiful skin and you give great info about makeup and stuff. But I wanted to know if you like to go indoor tanning or do you think it's too bad for you skin? Thanks xoxo

I do use a tanning booth, maybe every six months or so, once or twice. I do it if I need a tan fast! Spray tanning is obviously a lot better for you!

Mona says:
Hey Kim! I'd really love your "sun-kissed" look, what is your favorite make-up bronzer to use on your face/body??

I love MAC bronzers! I try to use a darker pressed powder like NC45, instead of bronzers with shimmer, because it tends to look to shiny sometimes.

Hey Everyone!

I'm so psyched because our DASH store site just got a HUGE makeover! Check it out here!!!

We have added tons more merchandise and so much more will be added daily! We have divided sections by designer, so you can easily find your favorite one. Or if you are looking for a specific type of outfit, you can shop by category (dresses, shorts, swimwear, etc.).

Another exciting way to shop on the site is "by trend." There you will find our store's offerings divided by my glamorous favorites, Khloe's picks and Kourtney's preferred items. We also point out must haves so you can keep your wardrobe up-to-date!

I hope you find the site to be as fun as I do! Let me know in the comments area what you think!

Xoxo,

Kim

Hey guys,

We are having so much fun in Monaco! Kourtney and I worked with Access Hollywood to show them around the area!

I am wearing a Paul & Joe jumper with Christian Louboutin cow heels and my mom's vintage Moschino belt. Funny story: I almost lost it!

You may notice I started off the day wearing it then forgot it at a store when I was trying on another belt. Not to worry... I later realized it was gone and ran back for it!

Close call. Do you have any recent stories of nearly losing a precious item of yours or leaving your keys in your house, only to lock yourself out? Let me know in the comments area!

kim_style_kiss_kardashian.jpgToday I offer you a menagerie of beauty tips to ponder as you get ready for weekend! And if you have been wondering about the back story on Ashlee Simpson's nose job, I have some details to share. I also discuss how I got started in the styling business, how to control oil and which facials I like to get.

Bella says:
Hey Kim, I love the show... very interesting. My family is kinda like yours except my mom isn't as cool. I'm hailing from the Bahamas and I wanted to know how you got your start as a stylist?

I started off styling for my mom and Bruce when they were filming infomercials. I fell in love with it and built it from there. It's all about reputation. It's hard work and if you are good, good news travels fast and you will always work! You need to start off being an assistant to a stylist to learn the ropes.

Nataly says:
Hey Kim, I love all of the beauty tips you give! Thank you! I do have one question... Do you by any chance have any tips or advice on how to control oily skin? I get really irritated sometimes because i put my make-up on and about 30 minutes later my face is really shiny and I feel like my make-up is coming off. Please let me know what you think. I would really appreciate it.

I would try to use oil free makeup and powder. Also carry blot papers that you can use occasionally to control oil throughout the day. Here's another awesome-yet-funny tip: You can use toilet seat covers to blot your face. It's basically the same material as blot papers and their free! Ha ha!

Nevra says:
Hey Kim... When I was young I had a nice cute nose but as I started growing up my nose started to have a big bump on it. None of my family members have it except for me. I'm 20 years old now and I really want to tget rid of this ugly bump on my nose. It makes my nose look soo much bigger. I researched on rhinoplasty, but I'm not so confident on where to do it. I heard it is much better to do it in the states but I live in Montreal, Canada, and I'm not sure if they are good or not an I don't know anyone that has had rhinoplasty. I don't want my parents to know. Only me and my boyfriend know. Could you please tell me where would you recommend me to do it? I really want to get this done soon. Thanks a lot, Kim. XOXO
P.S. Your nose is perfect. I would LOVE to have your nose.

Thanks for the compliment, Nevra! I have done my research too, actually. I have decided that I'm too scared to do it... but the Dr. who did Ashlee Simpson's nose is...

kim_racket_mag.jpgMany of you have asked me about makeup tips. Today let's talk lashes & brows...

Ruby asks:
Kim, do you where eye lash extensions? I am so amazed by how long and perfect your eye lashes always appear... not to mention that both your sisters and mom also have the same perfect look.

No, I do not wear eyelash extensions, Ruby. But just started using an eyelash grower called Revitalash. It's amazing! It makes your eyelashes grow soooo much!

Kim [another Kim, not me!] says:
Kim....You, your mom and your sisters eyelashes are ALWAYS beautiful. I wanted to know what brand you use or where do you guys get them done?

We wear a company called Red Cherry, but Khloe never wears them. Kourtney, my mom and I only wear them out at night to events or parties. We have very long eye lashes to start with and the trick is to use two different kinds of mascara and really take your time putting it on!

Mla says:
Hi Kim! Thanx for giving us your makeup regimen! We really appreciated this, but I wanted to know the color you use on your eyebrows. They always look so perfect! Do u use pencil or what!? Thanx again and stay nice and cool! Your fan!

I use a MAC brown eyeshadow to fill them in a little bit. It's called "walnut." It works really well for me. If I need to fill in some more, I use the MAC eyebrow pencil called "lingering."

Kristina says:
Hey Kim...love you and your sisters...LOVE the show! Quick question: In the season premiere of Season 2 Khloe was wearing an awesome shade of pink nail polish when she "cornered Scott." Can you tell me the shade or at least the brand by chance? Thanks.

It's by the company Essie and shade is called Limo-Scene.

Lily says:
Hi Kim! I love you. As J.Lo is your inspiration, you are mine! I really would like to know what is the perfume you like the most! And for night too!

I usually stick to the same scent -- my all time every day scent is Michael by Michael Kors.

Yiana says:
Very cute! Kim, I am your biggest fan. What is your diet/workout regime and what kind of products do you use for your hair?

I try to eat as healthy as possible, but make sure I work out all the time. I have a trainer Kathy Kaehler who I work out with all the time. We actually just made a work out video which is simple and easy to follow along with -- especially if you are busy and don't have any exercise equipment. As for my hair, I like to switch up products all the time to keep it fresh and vibrant. I use anything from Herbal Essence to Finesse to salon products.

Anonymous says:
We really want to know what bra's you use???? I have tried a number of different bras... the best thing to good support and lift (I've found... 34c) is Victoria Secret's convertible push up... and the angel invisible, underwire is okay too. But I find they squeeze me a little too much for my liking... can't stand it all day... what is the secret!!

I am obsessed with Victoria's Secret. I wear the water bra! It is the best ever! I’m also going to get fitted properly. There is a great woman in New York who does this but I know they also have fit specialists at Victoria’s Secret too — most women wear the wrong size bra!

boricua-jlo-4ever says:
Heya Kim, just writing to ask you for some tips on working out. I have a lil belly fat. Can you give me some tips on how to get rid of it? I run for 15/20 mins as often as I can but that seems to be making me lose weight all over which I'm not happy about! I do 5 sets of 50 squats 3/4 days a week too.. What is your workout routine? And what do you do to look so sexy? Please get back to me.. love u lots! mwaaah!

My workout video is out now!!! Quick and easy 5 minute workout!

Last night Khloe and I went to a Ruth Tarvydas fashion show -- her first one ever in Australia. We had so much fun!

Ruth dressed us as we also had the opportunity to go back stage and meet all of the models and the designer herself. I find her designs to be glamorous and very sexy.

At the end of the show a model pulled Khloe and me onto the runway to do the final walk! We were sooo pleasantly shocked!

It should come as no surprise to you that I just adore fashion shows!

What do you think of our Australia trip so far? Keep checking the site -- there's more to come!

Summer is almost here and you know what that means -- time to get a new swimsuit!

A good-fitting swimsuit is hard find! For me I only like tie bottoms because its hard for me to find bottoms I like. I also think one piece swim suits are great to wear with a long skirt. It makes an easy beach outfit.

It is important to get your correct size and not try to squeeze into something that fits too tight! I really like Sassi Bikinis which I'm wearing in these photos. (You can see more pics of me in my purple Sassi swimsuit here, too.)

Along with the perfect swimsuit, you must have...

1. Sunscreen is way more important than you think! You need it even if you aren't going to the beach!

2. Accessories like big sunglasses, which not only shade you from the sun, but are fabulous when you have no make up on and want to hide a little bit! ;)

3. A great pair of flip flops... my casual favorite are Havianas and for a little more dressy its Mystique sandals.

4. A beach cover up. My favorite is a sarong! It covers up the bottom half so you can walk around and not feel too naked, yet it doesn't cover you up on top, so you still get a good tan.
